About

Hello! I’m an illustrator, animator and storyteller currently based in Cairo. Curiosity, play, and collaboration are at the core of my practice.

I believe in the power of personal storytelling and collective voice to challenge power dynamics and I believe I can do this through playful and humorous explorations in art and design. I have concentrated my work on themes such as memory, domesticity and loneliness.

My project Letters from Home was chosen to be exhibited in the Today Art Museum exhibition Here / There in Beijing curated by Adrian Shaughnessy. Recently, I was a part of the Turquoise Desert research programme at the University of the Underground.
